LETHBRIDGE – The Canadian Home Builder’s Association - Lethbridge Region will be hosting a Parade of Homes beginning on September 25th. The event will feature a record number of participants, including 36 showhomes from 20 builders from the Lethbridge, Coaldale and Coalhurst areas. The homes featured will represent a wide spectrum of styles and values, appealing to a similarly broad spectrum of the general public.
Festivities get under way with a champagne breakfast at 9 a.m., this Friday, at the Lethbridge Country Club. This will be followed by addresses from all levels of government at 9:30 a.m., as the parade is officially opened.
“The Parade is one of the largest events that our association hosts and is a great opportunity to showcase the whole residential construction industry including our builders, trades, suppliers, and service professionals,” says Jean Greer McCarthy, president of CHBA-Lethbridge Region. “It takes a lot of partnerships to build a great home and this year’s participating builders prove that by showing some amazing and innovative homes.”
Participating homes will be on display from Monday to Friday from 4-8 p.m., and on the weekends 12-5 p.m. The parade runs from September 26 to October 11.
