KAMLOOPS - Awards were presented this weekend in British Columbia. The 2009 Keystone Awards, which honour achievement among members of the CHBA Central Interior, were handed out at a black tie gala held at the Grand Hall Thompson Rivers University. The 5th annual event drew almost 300 guests.
“The homes that were featured in this year’s awards were magnificent,” said Patsy Bourassa, CHBA Central Interior executive officer. “It is really startling to see the wonderful home designs, interior and exterior home features that have been built in our region.”
This year’s emcee was Global BC television weatherman, Mark Madryga, whose quick wit and stories from the “old days” were well received. International impressionist performer, Martin Dubé, entertained the audience after the awards program.
