Real Renos Host Jim Caruk Gets Hands-On With Homeowners

TORONTO, ON – The Build it Yourself Learning Center (BiY) opened to the public on May 1, 2010. Spearheaded by HGTV’s Real Renos host Jim Caruk, this 5,000 square-foot instructional facility in downtown Toronto will offer homeowners interactive workshops with accredited instructors who’ll teach them how to tackle projects the right way. The BiY Center will offer workshops and seminars that deliver detailed information and provide hands-on experience at every skill level. Workshops cover everything from basic maintenance and repair, carpentry, basement design and finishing to outdoor living space design, landscaping and build-it-yourself decks and docks.
