Building Industry Raises $25,000+ for Habitat for Humanity Toronto

TORONTO, ON - The community partnership between the BILD and Habitat has reached the seven year mark with no signs of the proverbial “itch” in the relationship. In fact, the BILD membership continues to embrace the partnership through its ongoing support of events like the annual Charity BBQ and the Party for Humanity, sponsored by the Toronto Star and In2ition Marketing Insights, held on Thursday, July 15, 2010.
The events, held consecutively, invited members to organize into teams and participate in a “amazing race” format throughout downtown Toronto. The Race’s finishing line was located at BILD’s very own headquarters where the Charity BBQ, in its 18th year, turned into the city’s hottest tailgate party where guests participated in a silent auction, as well as other “fun”draising events.
