ESNH Next Generation: Committee Meetings Open to Observers

TORONTO, Ont. — Jan. 27, 2011. Last month, NRCan held the first meeting for the Next-generation ENERGY STAR for New Homes Advisory Committee. Some of the key issues raised by builders were discussed by the committee: recommendations included a transition policy of 18-24 months; an estimated incremental cost of $4000-$5000; and an energy target of 15 per cent above OBC. Committee meetings are open to observers - if you would like to participate as an observer to the next meeting, please contact NRCan. EnerQuality will also send out notices of upcoming meeting dates once they are made available.
