World Plumbing Day 2011

TORONTO, Ont. — The Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating (www.ciph.com) is getting the word out: plumbing organizations in several countries are making plans to mark the Day in the hope that they can draw attention to the important role which plumbing plays in relation to both public health and the environment.
The first World Plumbing Day was launched in Beijing, China last year; this year, the World Plumbing Council (WPC) celebration will take place in Bangalore, India where a joint meeting has been arranged between WPC and the World Health Organization (WHO). The event will include a range of prominent medical and plumbing experts, with the aim of focusing attention on the link between good plumbing and good health. Complete details of World Plumbing Day can be found at www.worldplumbingday.org.
