Home Builders Care "FORE" - Ray of Hope!

WATERLOO REGION — Waterloo Region Home Builders' Association (WRHBA) welcomed over 140 guests at its Fall Charity Golf Classic on Tuesday September 9th, 2014, at the beautifully renovated Whistle Bear Golf Club.
WRHBA's Fall Charity Golf Classic is the Association's most prestigious annual tournament, providing an excellent opportunity for Association members to give back to the community while enjoying a networking platform of industry professionals. Once again, members and guests came together to support Ray of Hope, WRHBA's 2013-2014 Charity of Choice, with an afternoon on the green followed by refreshments and dinner in the spectacular Grandview room of the private club.
Since 1967, Ray of Hope has been offering hope and support to men and women in Waterloo Region and beyond, including significant work in the areas of youth addiction, youth employment, and providing aid to those experiencing poverty.
This past April, with the combined efforts of WRHBA participating member companies, nearly $70,000 was raised to offset a $90,000 renovation to Ray of Hope's King St. Kitchener location. In addition to the numerous contributions by WRHBA members in the form of cash donations, time, supplies and materials, the Association was able to provide over $10,000 derived from the Fall Charity Golf Classic. This cumulative amount can be attributed to all companies who participated in the tournament; including sponsors, raffle prize contributors, and golfers! In recognition of this, WRHBA salute the generous contributions of those member companies who stepped up to support this most worthy organization.
