University of British Columbia’s School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture to Host Awards for Sustainable Construction

The competition is open for projects in architecture, building and civil engineering, landscape and urban design, materials, products and construction technologies.
In June 2017 the jury will review all North American entries in both categories Main and Next Generation (under age 30). They will consider the merits of each based on five target issues for sustainable construction.
The competition has two categories with different requirements:
LafargeHolcim Awards (main category)
Next Generation (young professionals and students category)
Evaluation process
The juries consist of independent, renowned representatives from science, business and society. They evaluate entries against the “target issues” for sustainable construction.
