Green builders sought for trade mission
January 19, 2018
Are you are a net zero carbon home builder? The Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) is looking for 15 leading Canadian cross-sectoral companies and professionals to join Thomas Mueller, CEO and president of the CaGBC, on a trade mission to the Netherlands and Austria in late January.
The mission is an exclusive opportunity to meet with innovative Dutch and Austrian green building experts, companies, developers, and service and product providers, in the field of net zero carbon and net zero energy buildings, according to the CaGBC.
The trade mission will visit net zero energy residential, commercial and institutional projects, and learn from international sustainable building experts in Austria and the Netherlands.
“We will also connect with key policy-makers and established firms providing support services to Canadian companies interested in exporting opportunities in Europe,” the council stated.
The CaGBC said it will provide information on new opportunities that the Canadian-European Union Comprehensive Economic Trade Agreement (CETA) may open for Canadian companies exporting and doing business in Europe.
The trade mission is set for January 22 to January 26.

A $1,250 registration fee per company representative is required. This fee includes ground transportation to meetings and events in Europe, access to site visits, business meetings, and networking events included in the program.
The registration fee does not cover the cost of flights, accommodation, or other travel expenses incurred by participants. Companies may be eligible for partial reimbursement of travel expenses.
