$500 million Montreal project set to go
February 27, 2018

The City of Longueil is plunging ahead with a $500 million mixed-use, transit-linked development that will include more than 500 condos.
Montreal-based Devimco Immobilier has been chosen as developer of the project that will be built above the Longueuil-Université-de-Sherbrooke Metro station. In total, it is expected to include one million square feet of real estate—with condos, rental housing, a hotel, office space and retail.
The site is also close to three universities, including the University of Montreal.
“This project is right in line with Devimco’s philosophy. The idea is simple, but ambitious,” said Devimco Immobilier president Serge Goulet. “We want to achieve Longueuil’s vision by creating a multi-functional urban core where different experiences are key to developing a genuine living environment. That’s why we’re planning an integrated, mixed-use space where people can live, work and access the services they need.”
There was no estimate on when construction of the giant project would be completed.
