Green builders meet in Toronto

The Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) will hold the World GBC Congress in Toronto from June 5-7 at the Beanfield Centre.
The conference is meant to examine how the building industry in Canada and around the world is meeting aggressive international carbon emissions targets.
CaGBC is also offering four pre-Conference green building tours on June 4 and 5, which will highlight some of Toronto’s sustainable building sites.
A pre-conference zero building summit on June 5 will also feature technical education and updates about CaGBC’s zero carbon pilot projects.
Zero carbon buildings—which produce as much energy as they consume—will also be a focus during the main conference program.
