Hiring a contractor? There’s an app for that

September 17, 2018

Bryan Baeumler

HeyBryan, an app that connects renovation contractors and other service providers to homeowners, has formed a partnership with HGTV's Bryan Baeumler.
Baeumler is the star of HGTV shows such as House of Bryan, Leave it to Bryan and others. The series premiere of Bryan Inc. was HGTV Canada's highest-rated premiere of the past five years.
“Home repair and related services are areas that haven't seen tremendous innovation the same way that industries like food services have. And this is a huge problem, because unlike having the wrong pizza delivered, the wrong service provider can cause irreparable damage to your home or other possessions,” said Baeumler.
Lance Montgomery, president, CEO and co-founder of HeyBryan Inc., explained, “We thought it would be great if people could simply ask ‘Hey Bryan, do you know a painter?’ and that’s where the name came from.”
HeyBryan enables users to find vetted, qualified home service providers on its easy-to-use app. Available services include general handyman services, furniture assembly, cleaning, electrical, plumbing, painting and appliance repair.
The HeyBryan app is set to launch this fall for Android and iPhone users.
