Caesarstone introduces new colours, patterns
October 1, 2020
Aiming to capture an uptick in demand, Caesarstone has released a new colour—Calacatta Maximus—in its quartz countertops for the fall building and renovation market.
“Breathing new life into classic marble, Calacatta Maximus elevates a luxurious design with oversized soft grey veining and fine copper-gold outlines reflect the authentic mineral deposits found in nature against a pure white slab,” the company explains.
According to Caesarstone, the new colour scheme is meant to contrast well with brushed steel or chrome appliances, adding “with dark colours making a kitchen comeback, [homeowners] can create a contrasting design with black cabinets or tiles to create a bold, chic statement.”
A survey from the Kitchen and Bath Association released August 2020, stated that quartz is now the top-selling countertop material in both Canada and the U.S. and “far more popular than granite or marble.”
